You are invited to the annual Pennsylvania AAUP Conference at Franklin and Marshall College on Saturday, November 2, 2024.

The conference keynote will be given by Kristin Paradise, Governor Shapiro’s Central Region Director, on the state of higher education in Pennsylvania.

This conference is an excellent opportunity to network with AAUP members and to discuss strategies for building chapters, shared governance, academic boycotts, and more.

The conference is free to AAUP members from Pennsylvania and will also be available through Zoom.

• 9:00-9:30: Arrival, coffee & doughnuts
• 9:30: Welcome
• 9:40-10:00: Chapter networking and Strategy Sharing Session
• 10:00-11:00: Keynote session: Kristin Paradise, Director, Central Regional Office, Office of the Governor
• 11:00-11:15: Break
• 11:15-noon: Open forum on AAUP’s “Statement on Academic Boycotts”
• Noon-12:30 p.m. Casual Lunch (provided)
• 12:30-1:00: Session on “Shared Governance and Governing Boards”
